Terri Hernandez
Owner/Educator
Terri Hernandez started Adventures In Living Science in 2012 in an effort to provide standards-based classroom programs that could be customized to meet the needs and vision of teachers and their students. Over the years, custom programs have expanded to include pet therapy and wildlife education. Terri has over 20 years' experience in animal science and environmental education and has worked with teachers, parks, zoos, museums, and people from all over the world. Terri holds a Master of Arts, Science Education, from Western Governor’s University, holds a Certified Interpretive Guide designation from the National Association for Interpretation, in addition to certificates in Interpreting Climate Change, Project Wild, Growing up Wild, and the use of technology in Interpretation.
